Open exhibition

Studio 18 is delighted to announce the return of our Open submission exhibition.
Now in its sixth year, Studio 18 has gone from strength to strength with creative engagement across the field, developing exciting projects in both the visual arts and music. The Studio 18 Open is no exception, providing a real platform of diverse expression and an all inclusive approach to the arts.

The aim of the exhibition is to draw in creatives both locally and further afield in order to connect, discover and enjoy the amazing diversity of this creative Cotswold hotspot. Any discipline will be considered and at least one work from each submitting artist will be exhibited, subject to restrictions.

Accepted works will also be included on Studio 18’s website in the form of a virtual gallery allowing art lovers to purchase and be a part of the viewing process. So if you’ve managed to create a body of work throughout the year, or just experimented with your creative meanderings, now’s the time to show!

There is a non-refundable online submission fee of £25 to cover admin and private view. Up to 8 works for consideration to be submitted online with a size restriction of 150 x 150 cm, of which a maximum of 5 may be selected. All applicants will have at least one piece accepted. Larger works will be considered. Two dimensional works must be ready to hang.

Online submission deadline is 8pm July 9th. Each artist will be informed of successful entries by the 12th July. Studio 18 will take deliveries of work on the 15th July between 11 - 6pm. Opening night is Thursday 3rd August, and the exhibition will run until 13th August open daily 12-5pm.

Studio 18 will consider film, installation art, sculpture and performance art but ask that you get in touch at the earliest possible opportunity in order to consider logistics and requirements. Studio 18 takes 30% of sales.
