An opportunity for young artists to install and show their work
After the amazing success of the last 2 years of the 25 and Under exhibition, Studio 18 is once again inviting artists age 16 to 25 to submit work for an exhibition aimed at exploring the new generational wave of art makers.
Studio 18 offers the opportunity for young artists to exhibit and work within a professional creative environment alongside more established career-based artists.
Artists will be encouraged not to just simply drop off work for exhibition but also to get involved in constructing, curation and invigilation of the exhibition. Offering invaluable experience in professional art practice and an opportunity to connect with like-minded creatives at varying career levels.
Several of the previous 25 and Under exhibitors have gone on further at the Studios to produce public installations, design and curate group shows including a solo show, and 3 of the previous exhibitors have even gained employment at Studio 18, all with great success.
Accepted works will also be included on Studio 18’s website in the form of a virtual gallery allowing art lovers to view the show online. Selected works will be included in an online shop, allowing visitors to our website to view and purchase works from the show.
Show opens 6pm Saturday 5th March.
Afterwards its open Friday, Saturday and Sunday
12-5pm until the 20th March
