A brand new monthly event ‘Global Beats & Friends’ . A selection of funky global tunes from around this groovy planet plus collaboration with invited guests, live music and DJs
For this inaugural session we have:
Live Music from the Earl Temple Foundation- Expect raw post-punk-jazz-powered by proto-disco drivers! (Some of you eagle eyed people will spot former members of Solomento in this new audio delight!)
DJ/Music selections from
Global Beats - Shuffles modern beats with earthling indigenous vibes, throwing down groovy global gems with that funky planetary flavour.
Wizardtree - Musician/Producer blending driving rhythms and acid tones with deep morphing basslines, creating a cathartic journey through twisted grooves and trance -inducing soundscapes.
DJ Shmevs - Popping garage selections and wubby mid tempo skanks.
Plus the usual Studio 18 delights, fire, bar and great decor! Entry £5. Unless you are really skint then pay as you feel £2/3/4 or a good joke or yarn on the door will get you in!
