About the Artist:
"My name is Zed in the Clouds, I am a freelance multi-disciplinary artist working in a wide range of mediums. I specialise in mural work but also do a lot of illustrative/design led projects in addition to making/exhibiting/selling my own work. My influences are eclectic to say the least but I would definitely cite Hip-Hop culture to be my biggest single influence. I also love old school cartoons like Asterix, Garfield and Calvin and Hobbes, and I am inspired by surrealism, impressionism and illusions too amongst many other things. I love to explore humanity and our interaction with both the natural and man-made environment, and provide a commentary/raise questions through my work. Having a background in graffiti I am obsessed with typography too, and I enjoy experimenting with different ways to blur the boundary between type and image.
